A fantastic mix of ancient and modern: stand outside and you’re surrounded by Byzantine and Ottoman relics, but step inside and you’ve entered a comfortable newly designed boutique hostel.

Cheers Hostel welcomes travellers from all over the world who look for modern comforts, facilities and a relaxing environment. We are different from a usual hostel and designed for those that prefer a hip yet homely stay.

All of these are combined in a renovated Ottoman building, located in the heart of most historical area of Istanbul (Sultanahmet – The Old City center). You will find the immediately surrounding streets full of historical monuments from palaces to mosques, and restaurants, cafes, shops, supermarkets, tourism info and so much more.

In fact we are so central that we also enjoy fabulous views of the famous Hagia Sophia Church just beside us!

We are also close to the main transport system (bus, tram, ferryboats and metro) and the best night life areas – Taksim.
